Noticeboard

Dr Bell is sadly retiring from the Practice at the end of July 2019. He will be sadly missed by us all. We are collating a book of messages for him. You are welcome to come to the surgery to collect a plain piece of card that you can write your own personal message, alternatively you could send an email to edlesborough.admin@nhs.net and we will make sure that your message is included in the book.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.

Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.

NHS charges

Charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
