Covid latest information

Flu update 24th Sept 2021.
We have now received our flu vaccine for patients over the age of 65. We are sending messages out to patients over 80 this weekend to book. We will of course follow up those who we can't access by message or email, but in the meantime we would appreciate it if you have a friend or relative in that age group if you could please encourage them to book their appointment. Our clinics this year are at the pavillon in Pitstone, this is so that we can provide social distancing and a one way flow to protect our most vulnerable patients as much as possible. We will be coadministering the covid boosters when we can, but its important not to delay having either vaccine when offered, as the predictions are for a severe flu season this year. Booking is online for those who have access or via reception. Thank you
Flu and Covid update 20th September 2021
We are now getting information to help us plan our clinics- - where possible we will give these vaccinations at the same time but it's important to remember that there needs to be 6 months between the course of Covid and the booster.
We are hopeful that our supply of flu vaccine, which has been delayed, for patients over 65s will arrive this week, we will open up booking for these appointments as soon as we have the vaccine supplies.
FLU & COVID BOOSTER CLINIC
We have all our flu vaccine on order, ready to give to our patients locally.
We are awaiting trial information (due to complete end August) informing us if we can give both flu and covid boosters at the same time. Due to the tight timeframes it may be the the most vulnerable get invited for just flu before covid deliveries arrive and so will have to come back a second time when the covid vaccine is made available- but we feel that vaccinating with what we can as soon as we can is best.
We are able to mobilise the vaccine better this time, so we will be able to run the clinic ourselves at the Pitstone Pavillion with your GPs and nurses that know you and your past history.
We will be contacting patients as and when we can to confirm the dates as soon as humanly possible. Please do not ring the surgery to enquire.
Thank you
Dr White & Dr Mitchell

Presently, due to the increased spread of coronavirus and to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, most of our appointments are telephone appointments. If your GP needs to see you they will arrange this with you over the phone. We have the system to allow patients to send photos and have video consultations if required.

Please bear with us whilst we are trying to serve our patients during these difficult times and be assured we are doing our upmost to keep all our information up to date
