Non-urgent advice: Extended Access & Out of Hours
Extended Access
You can book an appointments on some early mornings, late evenings and Saturdays mornings. If you would like one of these appointments please ask at reception.
You can also speak to a doctor or nurse on the telephone – reception can book these slots for you.
Nurses and phlebotomists also have a range of pre bookable appointments.
If you need to be seen urgently (the same day) you will usually be offered an appointment with one of our experienced nurse practitioners. These will be offered strictly in time order, we are not able to offer afternoon/evening emergency appointment times in the mornings.
Out of Hours
Outside of normal surgery hours access to emergency GP cover is provided by NHS 111. Dial 111 to access this number which is free to all landlines and mobiles.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
