Dr Heather White
MRCGP BMBS DRCOG PGDip Derm (Distinction) PGCCE
Biography
I trained at Brighton and Sussex Medical School graduating in 2008. I then worked at various local hospitals including the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford before joining the Bucks GP training Scheme. I joined the surgery in 2013 and became Partner in 2014. I am now senior Partner at the surgery.
I have specialist interests in Dermatology and Minor surgery. I also offer joint injections. I do also really enjoying seeing children and always have a supply of stickers!
As well as my clinical responsibilities I am also a trainer of doctors aspiring to be GPs. I supervise trainees from the Bucks GP training scheme.
I am safeguarding lead for the surgery and also the lead for the surgery Dispensary.
I work full time splitting my hours across both sites

Dr Lee Mitchell
BMBS, MRCGP
Biography
I was born and raised locally in Leighton Buzzard. I attended Medical School in Devon spending time both in Exeter and Plymouth and graduated with Distinction.
I completed my hospital training in Bedfordshire before undergoing my GP training in Luton and Edlesborough.
I have since completed my GP training and has been working at Edlesborough Surgery since December 2017.
I am also fully trained in Minor Skin Surgery and have undergone further Specialist training in this field at the University of Hertfordshire. I also perform joint injections.
I work full time splitting my hours across both sites

Dr Kirsten Riemer
MBChB. MRCGP. DCH. DFFP.
Biography
I graduated from University of Cape Town, South Africa in December 2001 and joined the practice in October 2009.
I moved to the UK in June 2004. I have a special interest in Women’s Health.
I work two days a week at both sites.

Our Nursing Team
Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings.
The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Gill Hammond

Gill has been with the surgery since 1988 and a nurse practitioner since 2000. She had previously been a Sister in A&E and trained as a District Nurse. She isĀ our diabetes specialist nurse.
Gill holds daily acute illness clinics.

Graham started with us in January 2023 from a non NHS background – his focus will be the business aspects of running the practice. He is also our complaints lead.

Vicki is our Clinical manager and heads up the Nursing team. She also runs a nurse practitioner clinic as well as the managing respiratory patients and those with high blood pressure and Anticoagulation clinic.

Care Coordinator / Secretary
Care Coordinators/Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query.
Care Coordinators/Receptionists perform other important tasks such as: (1) dealing with patient enquiries, (2) dealing with (some) prescription enquiries – most are signposted to the Dispensary team, (3) financial claims, (4) patient records, (5) patient test recalls, & (6) test results.

Health Visitors
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Community Midwife
A community midwife cares for women during and after pregnancy and holds antenatal clinics at both surgeries.
